Being an obsessive music collector, Ramesh has had a strong career and following as a DJ. The last thirty years have seen him play in clubs around the world including Dagmarkt – Holland; Heavyweight - Montreal and Studio Lam – Bangkok. Locally he has played at Singapore’s most influential venues, from legendary after-hours club Lola to internationally acclaimed Zouk. He has held five DJ residencies including his present stint at the award-winning, premier rooftop nightclub, CÉ LA VI Singapore. He has continued his innovative style while performing at music festivals including Womad, Mosaic Music Festival with Montreux Jazz and Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide Festival.

In 2017 Ramesh was invited as a delegate at the Oslo World Festival in Norway. His inspiration from Oslo World led Ramesh to collaborate with seasoned industry players to develop Tropika. An inter-disciplinary festival centered on worldly rhythms, art and film. It aims to drive conversation and action on universal matters of social justice concerning inclusivity, sustainability and wellbeing.
